Terms of Service
Last updated: 26-10-2026
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the website https://skinchanger.me and the services offered on it (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By signing in to or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About us
The Service is operated by SkillwayLimited, a company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus, registration number HE494151, registered address ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@skinchanger.me.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Complaints Procedure, which form part of them.

2. Definitions
  • Item or skin: a virtual in-game item for Counter-Strike 2 or Dota 2 that exists in the Steam platform operated by Valve Corporation.
  • Steam account: your account on the Steam platform.
  • Trade URL: the Steam trade offer link of your Steam account.
  • Purchase balance: the balance in your account that you top up with deposits and use to buy Items.
  • Sales balance: the balance in your account credited with the proceeds of Items you sell to us, which you can withdraw.
  • Marketplace partner: a third-party peer-to-peer marketplace (currently Waxpeer) on which Items offered in our catalogue are listed by their sellers.
  • Trade protection period: the period during which Steam allows a completed trade to be reversed (currently 7 days, as set by Steam).

3. Eligibility
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to use the Service. After your first sign-in we ask for your date of birth. If you are under 18 you cannot use the Service; we sign you out and do not store the date you entered.
3.2 You may not use the Service if doing so is illegal where you live, or if you are subject to sanctions, or are located in a country or territory in which we do not offer the Service. You are responsible for checking that your use of the Service is lawful where you are.
3.3 You must hold a Steam account in good standing, able to trade (including Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator where Steam requires it), and must not be banned from trading by Valve.

4. Your account
4.1 You sign in only through Steam. We do not receive your Steam password. Your account with us is linked to your Steam account; whoever controls your Steam account controls your account with us.
4.2 You are responsible for keeping your Steam account secure. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised access to your Steam account, unless caused by our fault.
4.3 You must provide a valid Trade URL belonging to the same Steam account you signed in with. We check the Trade URL before saving it. Items are only delivered to, and accepted from, that account.
4.4 You may have only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared.
4.5 You must give accurate information, including your date of birth, and update it if it changes.

5. No affiliation with Valve; nature of Items
5.1 The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Valve Corporation. Steam, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and related names and logos are trademarks of Valve Corporation. All other trademarks belong to their owners.
5.2 Items are virtual objects within Valve's games. Valve owns the games and controls the Items, and Steam's own terms (including the Steam Subscriber Agreement) apply to them. Valve may change, restrict, hold or remove Items or trading at any time; we have no control over this.
5.3 Prices shown on the Service are offers to buy or sell Items through the Service. They are not a statement or guarantee that any Item has a real-world value, or that it can be resold for any price. Item prices can change sharply. You should not treat Items as an investment.
5.4 The Service is a marketplace. It is not a game of chance: we do not offer case openings, lotteries, betting, wagering or any product with a random outcome.

6. Balances and currency
6.1 Your account has two separate balances: the purchase balance and the sales balance. You can choose to see prices and balances in USD or EUR.
6.2 Amounts are converted between currencies using exchange rates we obtain from a rates provider, as shown at the time of the transaction. Rates change; the rate applied is the one shown when you confirm.
6.3 Balances are not deposits, e-money or a bank account. They do not earn interest. The purchase balance can only be used to buy Items on the Service and is not withdrawable in cash, except as a refund under our Refund Policy. Only the sales balance can be withdrawn.
6.4 Every change to your balances is recorded in a ledger which you can see in your account history. If a balance is credited by mistake (for example due to a technical error or a payment that is later reversed), we may correct it.
6.5 If your account is inactive for 6 months, we will contact you by email before taking any action on your balances.

7. Deposits
7.1 You can top up your purchase balance by card or other methods offered through our payment processor. You enter your payment details on the processor's payment page.
7.2 Your purchase balance is credited after the processor confirms that the payment succeeded. Minimum and maximum amounts, any fees and the currency are shown before you pay.
7.3 You must pay only with payment methods you own or are authorised to use.

8. Buying Items
8.1 Items in our catalogue are listed by sellers on our marketplace partner. When you place an order, we buy the Item on your behalf from the marketplace partner and debit the price from your purchase balance.
8.2 Before you order, we check that the Item is still available and that your balance and Trade URL are valid. Availability and prices can change until the order is placed.
8.3 The Item is delivered by a Steam trade offer sent by the seller to your Trade URL. You must accept the trade offer in Steam. Delivery depends on Steam, and usually takes up to 12 hours; we check the order status for up to 6 hours.
8.4 If the purchase fails, the seller does not send the Item, the trade offer is declined, cancelled or expires, the full price is refunded to your purchase balance automatically, as described in our Refund Policy.
8.5 Once you have accepted the trade offer and the Item is in your Steam inventory, delivery is complete.

9. Selling Items to us
9.1 You can offer us Items from your Steam inventory. We quote a price based on market data from Skinport, less our margin. The quote is shown in your currency and is valid for about 10 minutes. After that you must request a new quote.
9.2 When you confirm the sale, we send a Steam trade offer from our Steam account to your Trade URL asking for the Item. You must accept it in Steam. You must be the owner of the Item and the Item must still be in the inventory of the Steam account linked to your account.
9.3 After the Item reaches us, the sale price is held as pending for the trade protection period. After that period ends and we have confirmed that the Item is still in our possession, the price is credited to your sales balance.
9.4 If the trade offer is declined or expires, or if Steam reverses the trade (for example through Steam's trade reversal feature), the sale is cancelled and nothing is credited. If a trade is reversed, we may review your other pending sales.
9.5 If an Item already paid to your sales balance is later taken back from us because of a reversal, chargeback or similar action on your side, we may debit the amount from your balance or recover it from you.

10. Withdrawals
10.1 You can withdraw your sales balance using the payout methods available on the Service. Before you confirm, we show the amount, the currency conversion, any fees, the amount you will receive, and the applicable limits (minimum and maximum amounts, number of active requests, daily and monthly limits).
10.2 When you request a withdrawal, the amount is reserved from your sales balance. While the request has not yet started processing, you can cancel it in your account and the reserved funds are returned to your sales balance.
10.3 We aim to process withdrawals within 48 hours. If a withdrawal fails, the reserved funds are returned to your sales balance.
10.4 You must use payout details in your own name. We may refuse a withdrawal to a third party's account.
10.5 We may delay or refuse a withdrawal while we carry out the checks in section 12.

11. Fees
Our fees are built into the prices shown for buying and selling, and any withdrawal or deposit fee is shown before you confirm. We do not charge hidden fees. Your bank or payment provider may charge its own fees, including currency conversion fees.

12. Anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering checks
12.1 We monitor transactions to detect fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches and misuse of the Service.
12.2 We may at any time ask you to provide information or documents to verify your identity, age, the source of your funds or your ownership of payment methods and Items.
12.3 Until we are satisfied, or if you do not provide what we ask, we may delay, refuse or reverse transactions, hold balances, and suspend or close your account. Where the law requires, we may report to the competent authorities and may not be allowed to tell you that we have done so.

13. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
  • use the Service if you are under 18 or give a false date of birth;
  • use the Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or any other illegal purpose;
  • use stolen, borrowed or unauthorised payment methods, or make unjustified chargebacks;
  • sell Items that you do not own, that were obtained by fraud, or reverse trades after receiving payment;
  • use the Service for gambling, or to fund or cash out gambling activity;
  • create multiple accounts, or use another person's account;
  • use bots, scrapers or automated means to access the Service, except as we allow in writing;
  • try to manipulate prices, exploit errors or bugs, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • impersonate us or anyone else, including in Steam trade offers or messages;
  • break Steam's terms or any applicable law.

14. Suspension and closure
14.1 We may suspend or restrict your account, or refuse a transaction, if we reasonably believe that you have broken these Terms, the law requires it, there is a risk of fraud or other harm, or Steam has restricted your account. We will tell you the reason where we are allowed to.
14.2 You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account at support@skinzon.pro.
14.3 When an account is closed, we will refund or pay out any balance that is lawfully yours, after deducting amounts you owe us, unless the law requires us to hold it.

15. Availability of the Service
The Service depends on Steam, our marketplace partner, payment providers and other third parties. We try to keep it available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service, for example for maintenance or if a third party changes its services.

16. Errors
If an Item is shown at an obviously wrong price, or a balance is changed because of a clear technical error, we may cancel the affected transaction and correct the balances. We will tell you and refund any amount paid.

17. Intellectual property
The website, its design, texts and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use the Service. Item images and names belong to Valve.

18. Liability
18.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
18.2 We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including acts or omissions of Valve/Steam (such as trade holds, trade bans, outages, changes to Items or reversal of trades), our marketplace partner or sellers, payment providers, or changes in the market value of Items.
18.3 We are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
18.4 Subject to 18.1, our total liability to you in connection with any transaction is limited to the amount of that transaction, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to 50 EUR.

19. Indemnity
If you are not a consumer, you agree to compensate us for losses we suffer because you broke these Terms or the law.

20. Consumer rights
20.1 If you are a consumer in the EU, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
20.2 Your right to withdraw from purchases is explained in our Refund Policy. In short: Items are digital content supplied without a tangible medium, and by placing an order you expressly ask us to start delivery immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.

21. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms, for example because of changes in the law, in Steam's rules or in the Service. We will publish the new version with a new "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes on the website at least 7 days before they take effect. Transactions already confirmed remain under the Terms in force at the time. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and close your account.

22. Governing law and disputes
22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
22.2 The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.
22.3 Before going to court, please use our Complaints Procedure. You can also use alternative dispute resolution as described there.

23. General
23.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
23.2 If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not waive it.
23.3 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another company as part of a reorganisation or sale of our business, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer yours.
23.4 These Terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by law.
